Riff is a leadership and team performance consultancy that uses improv to grow teams and leaders
Our Differentiators
We combine the art of improvisation with deep expertise in finance, tech, and people strategy to design and deliver programs that land—fast.
We co-design every program with you. It’s never one-size-fits-all. It’s one-size-fits-your-team-now.
We drive accountability, and we build for outcomes. Our sessions set achievable, aspirational outcomes, and we reinforce learning with coaching and follow-through, because alignment and growth aren’t one-time events.
Our Approach
Discovery
1
We start by getting to know you, your team, and your company really really well. We interview key members of your team, partners, and stakeholders to develop a deeper understanding of your team's specific goals, culture, and constraints. We synthesize these findings to ensure the program solves the right problems.
Design
2
Using the information we learned in discovery, we build a curriculum unique to your team. Rooted in experiential learning, our designs prioritize practice over theory and application above all else. We iterate the agenda with you until it is perfect.
Facilitation
3
Whether it’s 4-hours, 4-days, 4-months, or 4 years (unlikely, but possible!), our expert facilitators deliver the program. We bring the energy, the focus, and the eye for application needed to deliver a session perfectly tuned to your organization.
Followup
4
Behavior change takes time. We protect your investment with ongoing coaching, tip sheets, and check-ins needed to ensure the learning sticks.
Our Story
From Riff Founder Jeff Mondoro
I was 24 the first time I delivered a presentation without shaking — and improv let me do it.
For a young professional paralyzed by the question, “What if I get this wrong?” improv offered a simple answer: here, there is no wrong. There is no script. There is just listening, noticing, reacting, and responding.
Improv gave me the posture that perfect is a fallacy. It gave me freedom to create, to explore, to not know, to discover. And the comfort to rely on those around me, because for the most part, we all want each other to succeed.
